Event Details

In July of 2016, Paloma McGregor joined fellow CMC Artists-in Residence – Awilda Sterling-Duprey, Awilda Rodríguez Lora, and Oceana James – for research and exchange about the connection between resistance movements in Puerto Rico and St. Croix.

In October, Paloma returned to St. Croix, where she presented a durational performance of Building a Better Fishtrap that led the audience on a walk from her father’s land in Christiansted to the plot in Gallow’s Bay where he used to build traps.
