About the Event
Weeklong Culminating Celebration of DWB's 10th Anniversary Year
Ticket Price: Sliding scale ($0-$20)
Join us in revisiting Dancing While Black: On Fertile Ground, our 2015-16 collaboration with New Orleans-based Junebug Productions. Featuring performances by multi-generational Black women choreographers: Nia Love, and Onye Ozuzu. Hosted by Stephanie McKee-Anderson, Executive Artistic Director of Junebug Productions.
Under the Donation option, we suggest you choose $0, $10, or $20, but you are welcome to give more if you are able to underwrite others' attendance and the true cost of creating such events.
About our sliding scale ticket cost: We value both accessibility and class analysis, and leveraging privilege to support others in our community. We ask that you pay on the scale according to your ability, in order to support access, and engage in interdependence in action. The practice of choosing a rate that is both affordable and heartfelt is a mindfulness and justice-seeking practice. We will not question your self-determined rate.
