Angela’s Pulse co-founder dances at United Nations, March 25

Angela’s Pulse co-founder Paloma McGregor will be performing at the United Nations’ 2009 Commemoration of the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade, one of ten award-winning dancers of various nationalities in a piece dedicated to the Middle Passage. The evening will also include such artists as Peter Buffett, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Danny Glover, Salif Keita, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, The Marley Brothers and Phylicia Rashad.
